This is one of those recipes that I read in some magazine somewhere but I have no idea where. It's so simple that this is a great meal to have one of the kids make (if you have teens) or the husband. If your household is like mine, then you have a husband who orders take out everytime you can't be there to cook dinner. This will avoid that takeout. Takes just a few minutes and I was very surprised at how good it is.
Ingredients:
1 lb deli roast beef
8 slices of cheese (I've used provolone, mozzarella, american, whatever your preference)
1 can condensed french onion soup
4 medium size sub rolls
2 T worcestershire sauce
Preheat oven to 350.
In a saucepan, heat soup over medium heat. Stir in worcestershire sauce. Add roast beef and cook until heated through.
Meanwhile, prepare rolls by placing on baking sheet and putting 2 slices cheese in each roll.
Add desired amount of roast beef to each roll and pop in oven until cheese is melted and rolls are toasty.
Pairs well with fries, tater tots etc.
